Regards. I am writing to you from Costa Rica (I am Venezuelan) and I am in a project about Latinos (pioneers) in the major leagues from their origins. I'm in search for who was the Cuban who connected the first hit in the big show. The game happened on July 4 (2011) and both Marsans and Almeida went 2-1, but the innings box score does not appear.
