For those that are serious about what saber metrics is in relation to performance in baseball by all means go to the MLB segment where Ken Hawk Harrelson is interviewed by Brian Kenney and Harold Reynolds. I really believe this to be food for thought about what really is important in winning teams and the individual players that can contribute to a win. MOST IMPORTANT. TWTW The Will TO WIN YES YES

It would seem to me that the subject of stats needs to be totally and i mean totally re-evaluated after what has just happened in 2014 play-offs.ROYALS beat OAKLAND AND ANGELS THAT had super offense stats by having lowest home run and walks totals yet being able to sweep. Also TIGERS had what seemed better offense and pitching yet got SWEPT by Baltimore

Sabermetrics are being more widely accepted to determine a players value. What do think is the best stat or stats to use in determining who is a teams best player?
