Playing a best of the best tourney all of the world series winners decade by decade then, a final tournament of all the winners. So far The champ of the winner's bracket is the powerful 1989 A's who beat the 76 Reds in a 3 game-0 sweep in a best of 5 series, now I am finishing out the loser bracket then once one team remains they will play a best of against Oakland. Right now the 4 teams left are 1948 Cleveland,1956 NY Yankees, 1968 Detroit,2016 Cubs and 1976 Reds.I am managing the 68 Tigers have to play the 56 Yanks, your sim says I should win we will see.Love this only wish you could watch the games.

Only Tigers fans understand the prior year's heartbreak of losing the pennant on the last day, and the way national media and experts looked down on the Tigers in 1968 World Series. After four games, it looked like the experts were right until Willie Horton cut down Lou Brook at home in game 5. Then the comeback began. From the depths of despair and loss to the exhilaration of a totally unexpected win! Only Tigers fans understand!

The first Milwaukee Brewers home Interleague game ever and I was there! :) The stadium giveaway was a certificate indicating this momentus occasion. Back then, a lower grandstand ticket a Milwaukee County Stadium was only $13.00.

The final out by Mantle to Kaline was one of the greatest catches of all time. Kaline sprinted to rt center to the wall, leaped up to the top of tarped wall, leaned over fence and caught ball. I was there, and the stadium went from bedlam to silence!
