McCarthy hits a line drive into right field for a base hit. There goes Boeckel trying to get to home. Robertson throws the ball in to Gibson who tags Boeckel who's trying to score from second, for the out.

Top 2 Schupp fires over to first and throws the ball away. That's an error on Schupp. Boeckel moves to second.

Top 2 DeBus hits a fly ball into center field. Kauff settles under the ball and makes the catch for the out.

Top 2 Boeckel hits a line drive into right field for a base hit.

Top 2 There goes Wagner. The throw from Gibson and he is out, Herzog applying the tag.

Top 2 Wagner hits a ball on the ground towards first. Holke juggles the ball. That's an error on Holke.

Bottom 1 Zimmerman hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. McCarthy fields it, throws to second for one, and over to first - double play.

Bottom 1 Burns hits a line drive into left center field, beyond the reach of Carey, who is chasing the ball. Burns reaches third base with a triple.

Top 1 Carey hits a popup towards the right side of the infield. Herzog settles under it and makes the catch for the out.

Top 1 King hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. Herzog scoops it up and throws to first for the out.

Top 1 Bigbee hits a ball on the ground towards first. Holke scoops up the ball, races to the bag, and beats Bigbee for the out.
