Bottom 2 Frisch hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. Terry scoops it up and throws to first for the out.

Top 2 Paskert hits a ball on the ground towards short. Bancroft fields it, throws to second for one, and over to first - double play.

Top 2 Herzog hits a line drive into center field for a base hit. Merkle moves to second.

Top 2 O'Farrell hits a fly ball into left field. Burns settles under the ball and makes the catch for the out.

Top 2 Merkle hits a line drive into right field for a base hit.

Bottom 1 Alexander fires to first and picks off Youngs.

Bottom 1 Youngs takes first base on ball four.
