Bottom 1 Bigbee hits a line drive into center field for a base hit. There goes Caton trying to get to home. Kauff throws the ball in to McCarty who tags Caton who's trying to score from second, for the out.

Bottom 1 Mollwitz hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. Smith scoops it up and throws to first for the out. Caton moves to second.

Bottom 1 Caton takes first base on ball four.

Top 1 Zimmerman hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. Pitler scoops it up and throws to first for the out.

Top 1 Kauff hits a ball on the ground towards the right side of the infield. Pitler has Thorpe trapped. There's the throw to Smith and over to Boeckel, who tags Thorpe for the out. Kauff moves to second. Score that a fielder's choice.
